Fermentation nation & Potluck with Eric Joseph Lewis

HOSTED BY: Forageville Hammock.
DESCRIPTION: This workshop will focus entirely on the magic and mystery of fermentation. We will be exploring, step by step, how to make your own fermented vegetables (kraut/kimchi), how to brew your own kombucha, and how to make delicious honey wine, also known as Mead. By the end of the class you'll be able to start making these delicious foods and beverages for your friends and family.
We will cover some detailed information, so bring note taking materials if they help you to learn, and feel free to audio or video (please check with other attendees to make sure they consent to being recorded).
Donations are appreciated but not required. Give what you can. Receive what you need. Be good family, always...in all ways.
At the end of the workshop we will have a potluck dinner around the fire! So bring a healthy dish/ fruit to share & your one cup and plate.
Our natural build event starts the morning after! You are welcome to stay for it and camp.
LOCATION: Forageville Hammock, 11718 SE 31st Place, Gainesville, FL 32641.
